But leave it to Charlize Theron to convince us otherwise. Getty On Wednesday, the actress attended the The Hollywood Reporter Beauty Dinner in Los Angeles, and walked the red carpet in a pair of dark gray ankle-strap, pointed-toe kitten heels with a coordinating set of above-the-ankle socks. Rather than a contrasting shade of white that can run the risk of looking gauche, Charlize's heather-gray wool socks added an intentional touch of sophistication — and not to mention, an extra layer of warmth. She teamed the quirky combo with an all-black ensemble that consisted of a leather midi skirt with pockets and a see-through blouse accented by a black-and-white tie and a sheer lace bra underneath. Getty Charlize accessorized with pearl and diamond jewelry, and pulled her blonde hair black into an easy ponytail with a middle part and loose pieces tucked behind her ears. A pink lip, glowing skin, and coppery eyeshadow completed her glam. Charlize Theron Glowed Like a Goddess in a Bejeweled Sheer Dress and Knee-High Gladiator Sandals Despite her ageless appearance, Theron is adamant that she hasn't gotten plastic surgery. Back in August, the actress addressed speculation that she got a facelift while speaking with Allure. “My face is changing, and I love that my face is changing and aging,” she told the magazine, before revealing: "People think I had a facelift. They’re like, ‘What did she do to her face?’ I’m like, ‘Bitch, I’m just aging! It doesn’t mean I got bad plastic surgery. This is just what happens.’”
