Description
Helichrysum bracteatum, commonly called Strawflower or Everlasting daisy, grows as woody or herbaceous shrub up to a meter tall. It is an erect perennial, or occasionally annual, plant, which produces bright, vibrant flowers in summer (lasting into fall) that come in shades of red, pink, orange, white and yellow. It is known as “ever-lasting” because the flowers will last indefinitely when dried. It can also be used as wreaths and homemade potpourri.
