I watched an interview with the guy and he said something to the effect of...
He had put this up on indegogo and....
When the AirForce showed up on his doorstep and "a big guy in the AirForce" said he wanted to see the working model...
"My world lit up".
"It is validation that I truely have solved the problem of a truely circular airplane".
The INTERVIEWER said..... "so where could I go?" there was a mixup then the guy said:
It holds a MASSIVE amount of fuel.
Then banter about going to Las Vegas.
MY GUESS: the whole of the wing is a fuel tank, and yeah it could maybe go far!
