WWII Pacific theatre themed shooter with great animation and gameplay. The only drawback are the controls which are quite fiddly. I had lots of fun with this one.

Legendary… the only thing this game is missing is an ending and a save option!
Never get tired of bombing cottages and hearing the screams of the tiny soldiers! ☺️

What's up with the music for this game on Lemon Amiga? It's like only half the channels are playing. Beyond that, this is one of my Amiga favourites, great fun, gets 8 out of 10.

A simple yet fun as hell game. I have been loading this one up a lot lately and flying a few missions. Held up well over the years. Worth checking out.

Much better game if your Amiga does NTSC. PAL controls are sluggy in comparison. Very difficult and get's repetitive if you keep dying too often.

Absolutly not my cup of tea. I tried to change my mind many times but neither one happened to be successful. Amiga version is much better than eg. C64 version in many areas but still the game is below average...

I really enjoyed this game.
Once you got a good hold on your plane, the gameplay was perfect.
Just like superturbo said, I would always end up doing some funny things like sinking my ship and then land on it (nice challenge).
I give it only 8/10 because it gets repetitive over time, but it's a classic !

A very funny game on the concept of the great Red Baron PC

To all of you who can't land the plane, there's a trick. You have to approach it from the right side, not the left. If you do it from the left side, then this trick doesn't work. Get to about 50-100 m from the plane and about half a screen height (i'm saying this out of my mind experiment it) and let go of the gas, now simply hold arrow up to put the tail down until you land and it goes like a pro

Politics aside, this is a great game! The "death sounds" of the little guys are just amusing. It gets pretty tough though when there's a lot of enemy planes with you in the air.

The graphics are poor for Amiga standards, but the game is fun

Did you know that it's possible to flip around the plane 360 degrees a few times when landing without crashing?? Try it, looks cool!

Bbbbbbbbbrrrrrrr-ea-ah-ahhh. Genius, became slang at school for something crap happening. What a game (with an editable loading screen too which provided much hilarity).....

Wow, this one was a conundrum. I loved the detail on the plane and the aircraft carrier and there was nothing like straffing the little guys running down the beach. But then the dogfights weren't great and it could get so unbelievably difficult. But it on the Gameboy to try and relive the memories and it was so pants!

The best part of the game was probably bombing and shooting down those small soldiers running around on the ground! For some reason I also liked to bomb my own ship with torpedos and then land on it while it was sinking. I guess I never liked to play it seriously...
- dead, shooting down the planes was certainly possible. It took a long time though because they will always turn around when you hit them, and when they do it's not possible to hit them for some reason... The dogfights were quite tiresome...

Nice little game. Put me in mind of harrier attack. Loved the sound of the little guys dying, "wahhhh". A good little shooter.

A game for the Amiga hall of fame, and addictive, at that. Dropping tiny little bombs has never been funnier ...

Loved the sound of the hydraulics when your Hellcat was being lifted up to the deck of the carrier.

Great shoot'em up fun and landing isn't all that hard after a few time practice. Really enjoyed this one

Good oldschool arcade fun, the slightly more realistic approach to the controls (esp. Landing) is what made it special. Good for short bursts of gaming.

You can't even get into this game without being able to land, which really isn't difficult once you know how to do it. For those who might otherwise give up on a good game - approach the carrier from the right, and hold straight up on the stick so you lose altitude with your nose lifted. Your tail should snag on one of the bumps, slowing you to a stop. Enjoy!

When I played this game for the first time I never understood how to land on my carrier, but after have managed that, the game became more fun to play
I can still hear the the hilarious screams of the little soldiers when you hit them

I first played this game on the C64 and I loved it. Later on the Amiga I had the same feeling. Finding the right weapons to bring along and kill everything on the island. There were a few things which annoyed me though, for example the landing on the carrier. Nice touch was the overall -view when you went up the screen. A very enjoyable game!

Fun and addictive game, one of my favourites. You start off on a carrier, with the choice to equip your ship with bombs, rockets or a torpedo, depending on your mission. It's a joy controlling the aircraft, watching it turn left and right, and ofcourse land on the carrier. Play it.

This game was great fun, and will appeal to those who remember the old 8-bit classics such as Harrier Attack.
