PUMA: the new official match ball supplier of Liga Portugal

After LaLiga and Serie A, the German sports brand becomes the Official Sponsor and Official Match Ball Supplier of the Portuguese professional competitions for the next seasons

PUMA and Liga Portugal have signed a Sponsorship and Licensing Agreement valid for the next seasons. The German sports brand will be the Official Match Ball Supplier of Liga Portugal and the Official Technical Sponsor from 2023-24, in a partnership that will make PUMA the brand of the Official Match Ball of all professional competitions.

However, the agreement goes much further, with the two parties also agreeing to collaborate on marketing, events and brand activation initiatives, always with a focus on creating value for the fan.

After LaLiga in Spain and Serie A in Italy, PUMA is reinforcing its strategy of betting on the best European leagues, contributing to the brand's growth in the global football panorama. The agreement, which was already reached in 2022, and made official this Wednesday in a ceremony held at Liga Portugal and attended by Pedro Proença, President of Liga Portugal, and Javier Ortega, Puma's General Director for Southern Europe.

This partnership reinforces Liga Portugal as one of the top leagues in Europe and will make the new Official Match Ball an iconic hallmark for the 2023-24 season.
