MINDFUCK How it Works and How to Avoid it

Human mind is extraordinary; furthermore if we abandon the Cartesian dualism mind-body we immediately recognize ourselves as simple flesh, more specifically thinking flesh.

It’s pretty magical, isn’t it?

However human brain is still, unfortunately, impenetrable to us.

It's no wonder that’s a concrete, physical organ; but our thoughts, our beliefs and our ability of reasoning are volatile, abstract and invisible, which could be leading to a great dangerous pitfall inside us.

If a person loses his autonomy and independence of thought, well… this is invisible to the external world. That’s creepy, very creepy.

MINDFUCK was used for the first time in the fifties from the journalist American Edward Hunter to report the treatment received by the American soldiers in the fields of imprisonment Chinese during the War of Korea.

MINDFUCK isn’t bullshit; it is a deliberate psychological manipulation.

If we fix on the term, MINDFUCK is oxymoronic: it brings by a semantic dissonance, incongruous elements, but complementary opposites – one mental (MIND), the other physical (FUCK).

Bullshit is irritating, while MINDFUCK is violating and intrusive. MINDFUCK is messing your perceptions, your feelings, your emotions, your maybe even usurped yourself.

Now here it is the neurological explanation of this psychological destruction.

Our brain is extremely plastic, also known as brain plasticity.

Neuroplasticity refers to the abilities of flexibility and adaptability of the brain and is made possible by the creation of new configurations of synaptic connection or from the modification of the existing connections, as an answer to the inputs coming from the outside or from the inside of the system.

Time ago it was thought that Neuroplasticity is accented in the first years of life and it progressively disappears with the complete development of the brain. Indeed it has been demonstrated that there is not such a linear relationship between age and ampleness of the neural plasticity.

This plasticity allows the brain to be regenerated; but it also allows to destroy it rapidly.

Consider now the case of the process of persuasion, which happens almost always through the communication:

You always have to examine the implicit speeches and behaviors of others. You must grasp the psychological clues behind the words.

BE CAREFUL. BE SAFE.

I know very well the psychological mechanisms of the language; and I use it to help you. But there is who also use it to drive someone in the blackest abyss and to exploit you.

Let’s know how it works through a simple scheme:

Brainwashing’s manipulator sniffs weak people; and those who are more fragile in a particular moments of their life, might be attracted and easily preyed.

Source of that weakness could be different, usually connected to the concept of abandonment (loss of job, house, a mourning, or other critical life’s events).

The mental manipulation of the victim is characterized by deliberate back and forth phases of exaltation and destruction.

The reason?

To create dependence and subjugation, deeply similar to a condition known as Stockholm syndrome.

The victim becomes enslaved. The manipulator becomes as he was God.

BE CAREFUL TO THESE POINTS:

  • Adulations and flatteries: as in everything, the abundance doesn’t lead to anything good.
  •  Insistence and pressure: the obsessive repetition leads the black out of the brain.
  • Isolation: the manipulator wants to alienate you from the real reality. He creates in your mind a parallel and fictional reality in which his enemies become yours.
  • Attacks against the self-esteem of the victim: the manipulator exploits his condition of superiority. He is the God gone down in earth and the victim must be to his wishes as an object.
  • Mental tortures: be careful to lies, false beliefs and threats.
  • Emotional tortures: these are as violent as those physics, or even more.
  • Physical tortures: suffering of hunger, cold, deprivation of the sleep.
  • Short time and pressure: the manipulator doesn't give to the victim the time for reasoning.
  • WE vs THEY: he comes to create a dangerous complicity.

In fact, the manipulator is a sad and repressed person, without values. He transmits his frustration to the other. He has manias of greatness, while he’s imperceptible.

Identify the victim:

  • Fanaticism: the victim can show a real obsession for a diverted leader or world.
  • Bipolarism: the victim shows incapability to take choices, because he fights with those of the manipulator.
  • Dissociation with the real reality
  • Depression
  • Anger
  • Confusion and destabilization

The victim must be account to have been a victim, so to reach the mental and physical freedom.

My suggestion is to talk the more possible to others. Select the true people that love you. And if you are unable at that moment... write to yourself. You must write, no cancellations, put in writing your thought, feeling and emotions.

I have recently been a victim of mindfucking. Unfortunately, at the moment, I am being manipulated by my neighbor through my dreams. I have a cat as well who is not acting like himself. He has been my familiar for over ten years so we know each other extremely well and he is not acting himself. I did have to house him at my daughter's with her and her roommates cats for about 4 months last year. He was normal when I got my own apartment but has been not acting his normal ways lately. He is about 13, he was a rescue who found me, so I thought at first he was just getting old. He is also used to being able to go outside but we are now in an apartment and its winter out (he doesn't like the snow much!). I recently just came to terms with what I had been through and am whole again, using university to ground myself. I am gaining my support network again so I am slowly becoming out of their reach. I was told last year that they were jinn. I'm not sure if this is true or the man was joking. I am doing research on this. Do you have any recommendations as where I can look for ansers?
