“American Pie” sweetheart Mena Suvari can finally kiss her divorce woes goodbye.
The 33-year-old actress officially reached a divorce settlement with ex-husband Simone Sestito this weekend, ending what had quickly become a messy split.
Sestito previously asked for $17,000 a month in spousal support, claiming that he was completely broke while Suvari was making close to $750,000 a year, E! News reports.
Now, however, neither Suvari nor Sestito “will pay the other any support,” a rep for the actress told Us Weekly.
The couple originally met in 2007 and wed in June 2010 for about a year and a half before Suvari pulled the plug on the marriage on January 13, 2012.
“It’s taken year to get to know myself,” she told the Boston Common. “I had never really taken time to cultivate who I was.
“I’ve felt drained by it. But I feel like I’m really, finally, content at this point in my life. I’m accepting of who I am and how diverse I am and honoring that. All of it.”
Suvari was also previously married to cinematographer Robert Brinkmann for five year, but the two split in 2005.
