Iphiclides Podalirius(Scarce Swallowtail) -Male -Greece -(2.75 in wingspan). Contrary to its common name(Scarce Swallowtail) this butterfly is quite common, but not in the United Kingdom where it got it's common name. It can be found in Central and Southern Europe, North Africa and in the Far East. The larval foodplants include Almond, Cherry, Blackthorn and Hawthorn.
