• Twiggy posted some iconic throwback photos from a 1967 Disneyland trip.
  • The post was in honor of Disney’s 100th anniversary.
  • The supermodel sported her signature bold eyelashes in the sweet snapshots.

Twiggy knows how to celebrate in style, and she pulled out all the stops for Disney’s 100th anniversary. The supermodel and actress, 74, just shared some iconic photos from a trip to Disneyland back in the ‘60s to celebrate “the last 100 years of magic.”

In the carousel of black and white photographs, Twiggy—a.k.a. Lesley Hornby—posted some snapshots of her enjoying a day at Disneyland. The pictures, which were captured in 1967, featured the supermodel sporting Mickey Mouse ears and her signature bold eyelashes and more snaps of her posing with favorite characters, Goofy and Pluto.

“Thank you Disney for the last 100 years of magic,” she wrote in the caption. “I grew up watching your films, as did my daughter and now my grandchildren. Long may your magic sparkle 💫Happy 100th Birthday! 🥳”

Fans shared their love for the post and flooded the comments section with heart and heart-eye emojis. One follower commented: “My favorite photos!! So chic!!😍” Another wrote,“And long may your magic sparkle dearest Twiggy x.” And one fan pointed out the second photo in the post that featured Twiggy alongside Disney character Goofy, writing: “Photo 2: my what long eyelashes you have Goofy. Just like you Twiggy ✨🧚🏼🏰🎠”

The supermodel and actress rose to fame at a young age, gracing the cover of Vogue in the ‘60s (at just 17!) flaunting a mod makeup look featuring her now-signature bold lashes. Twiggy’s iconic makeup (and overall look) caused such a stir in the beauty world that people wondered for years how she achieved such defined lashes. It wasn’t until recently that we found out exactly how she makes them so bold.

In a People interview from 2022, the model shared that she uses Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk Push Up Mascara. Twiggy, who is an ambassador for the brand and a longtime friend of Charlotte Tilbury herself, said that she “invented [the dramatic eye look] at the tender age of 16.”

“It would take me one and a half hours to apply, including three pairs of false eyelashes,” she told People at the time. Nowadays, she achieves the dramatic look with the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Push Up Mascara alone.

Twiggy’s sweet snapshots are transporting us to another, groovier time—and we can’t get enough. We can’t wait to see what iconic throwback she shares with us next!
