The actor and his partner, out, gay skier Hig Roberts, shared the incredible news today on Instagram.

“Tess Eleanor Macfarlane— Born June 4th 2023,” wrote Macfarlane. “ We started life with some hectic days and received world class care. On Father’s Day we got to take her home. Her Dads can’t wait to introduce her to all the remarkable people and the beautiful world we live in,” he continued.

What an incredible way to kick off a lifetime of Father’s days.

The message accompanied a carousel of photos and videos of Macfarlane holding Tess, along with videos of the happy parents bonding with the latest addition to their beautiful family.

Congratulations to the whole family, we can’t wait to see what the future holds for you all.
