Pleurozium schreberi

Pleurozium schreberi

Description:

Plant is yellow-greenish, robust and up to 8 cm. Leaves oblong-elliptic, smooth edges with a short double costa, large alar cells

Habitat:

This specimen was found at Shadow lake bog. I found that it seems to dominate slightly raised hummocks, with associates: Ledum and Tsuga.

Notes:

I didn't managed to acquire a good photo of the specimen, all I had was this image of a fungus above.
