The bed consists of a 3-part hinged plywood platform that folds down from a boxed section and rests on a small freestanding solid table and the other built-in sections. It makes a kingsize-plus sleeping area, approximately 1.7m x 1.7m, that would easily accommodate 2 adults and a child. The foam+fiber cushions form a mattress base.
