Astronomical CCD photography has undergone a revolution by implementing filters capable of selecting certain spectral bands, in order to obtain greater photographic contrast, sharpness and focus , especially in those monochrome CCD cameras.
Baader presents a set of 8 filters: L-RGB + H-alpha7nm , OIII 8,5nm, SII 8nm special for this use. Available in versions of:
  • UV / IR
  • Green
  • Red
  • blue
  • Clear (contrast)
  • H-alpha7nm
  • OIII 8,5nm
  • IBS 8nm
They cover the entire visible spectrum and simultaneously block unwanted wavelengths. This type of filter is useful for deep sky photography , especially for galaxies, stars and nebulae, which can emit gases, each at a particular wavelength. With this set we can have a very versatile and practical set of filters.
The entire range of filters are coated and polished on both sides , and the glass is of the highest quality to guarantee maximum light transmission, around 99% . This treatment also completely eliminates reflections and halos. They are mounted on CCD cameras on M28.5 threaded filter holder wheels .
