Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/25/23 Full Review Wayne L Some of the animation may not pass muter with modern standards but it was a stand out show in its day and still enjoyable to watch. Empire Staff Empire Magazine With a little more inter-group tension than most shows of the time and a lot more danger, this is at least 75 times more exciting than playing with D20s. May 8, 2019 Full Review Phillip Stephens Pajiba The premise sounds geeky, but Dungeons and Dragons gave much more emotion to its characters than many of its two-dimensional counterparts, and it was perhaps the first to imbue its drama with a sense of gravitas. May 1, 2019 Full Review IGN Staff IGN Movies [Dungeons & Dragons] was truly a mature soap opera with swords and monsters. May 1, 2019 Full Review Will Harris Bullz-Eye.com Given that Dungeons & Dragons almost certainly came into existence as a television series only because someone somewhere figured they could make a few extra bucks off the game, the show is much better than you'd reasonably expect. Rated: 4/5 May 1, 2019 Full Review R.L. Shaffer IGN Movies In the sea of dreary of Saturday Morning crud, this series was a surprisingly refreshing deviation. Rated: 9/10 May 1, 2019 Full Review Robert McLaughlin Den of Geek While, at times, the animation is ropey and differs in quality from episode to episode, Dungeons & Dragons is still one of the most imaginative and gripping classic geek cartoons.
