Piano Cake

Ingredients
Piano Cake
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 2/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 cups butter, softened at room temperature
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup sour cream, room temperature
Chocolate Chip Meringue
- 6 large egg whites
- 2 cups superfine sugar
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
Chocolate Buttercream
- 1 1/2 cups butter, softened at room temperature
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 cups cocoa powder
- 2/3 cup whole milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon salt
Chocolate Ganache
- 2 cups dark chocolate chips
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
Decorations
- 16 white chocolate kit kats
- 10 milk chocolate kit kats
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 350°F, and line a 13x9-inch pan with baking spray and parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cocoa. Using a hand mixer, blend the butter, eggs and vanilla into the dry mix.
