DFI LanParty UT nF590 SLI-M2R Preview
DFI LanParty UT nF590 SLI-M2R claims to be the best SLI platform on earth. DFI is the first motherboard maker to implement Digital PWM for the CPU power regulation. You can also bump the DDR2 memory voltage to 3.0V as well as 1.875V for the 65nm microprocessors, which is ideal for overclockers. Click on the Read full story marker and look at the full preview.

Despite the hype, PWM vcore has been available for some time. Four or five phase PWM vcore can be a good upgrade if properly implemented. It will take a lot more than just higher voltage options to produce the ultimate SLI or Crossfire mobo however. This DFI mobo like many other recent SLI/Crossfire mobos only has two USABLE PCI slots when using appropriately cooled double-slot Video cards. Evidently the mobo companies just don't give a damn what customers want. This is reflected in recent sales drops no doubt.
But it's yellow. I want to see this thing head to head with Foxconn.
Its aimed at extreme overclockers, and gaming enthusiast overclockers.
Hence the digital PWM and spacy pci-e. Only really need ~1 pci slot for a sound card if people choose to use one.
DFI has much needed this digital PWM because enthusiasts are constantly pushing the mobos.. to the point they are looking at extremely subtle, but noticable effects in voltage... wether its voltage fluxuation or just plain dirty voltage..
