Assembly

Installing a fully sized ATX board within is done by traditional means, with the use of screws and spacers. As you can see, there is plenty of space next all three edges of the motherboard, and the 120 mm tower cooler fit into the chassis without issue.

Even though made of plastic, the hard-drive trays are rather thick and sturdy. Each of these also comes equipped with an anti-vibration measures for 3.5" drives. Simply use the provided screws to install an SSD. 3.5" drives require one to use the longer and larger screws. Once in place, simply slide the trays back into the chassis until they snap into place.

To install an optical drive, you will first have to pop out the cover protecting the drive bay of your choice. Now, simply slide your optical drive past the locking mechanism until it snaps down on the drive. It will actually hold the drive rather well, but you should also sink a single screw into the drive to make sure it stays that way.

Once the PSU is installed, the Antec P100's motherboard compartment does make a very clean impression. You can see a few cables in-between the hard drive trays, but none of those should be readily visible once the black cover has been put into place. All the wiring has been hidden and routed behind the motherboard tray properly. Numerous zip-tie mounting possibilities make securing every cable a breeze. The large opening in the tray also gives you near-perfect, readily available access to the CPU cooler's mounting plate.

Finished Looks

With everything in place and the door shut, there are no visual tell-tale signs of the hardware within. Just a low operational hum and a fairly bright, but small blue LED in the front hint at a fully operational system, up and running.

The optical drive in the front has been hidden away nicely behind the front door, while every connector in the rear is also where you would expect it to be.
