But honestly, she's cute AF.

For 30 years, the World’s Ugliest Dog contest has been celebrating dogs with a unique look and style who may not be your run-of-the-mill Instagram influencer pups or classic Golden Retrievers. While the winners may be classified as “ugly” to some, we think they each have their own special charm, and this year’s queen is totally adorable.

Zsa Zsa, a nine-year-old English Bulldog, won the crown (or is it collar?) at this year’s ceremony on June 23 in the San Francisco Bay Area, NBC reports. She hails from Minnesota and has a long, droopy tongue, an underbite, grey eyes, and is totally stocky and cuddly. Honestly, we love her and think she’s perfect.

The World’s Ugliest Dog title isn’t necessarily meant to be a bad thing, because it’s clear their owners — and the judges — think each dog is a champion in their own special way. The contest is also meant to encourage people to adopt dogs from shelters, and recognize that every dog needs love regardless of its looks.

According to her official profile, Zsa Zsa is a Very Good Girl indeed, and is now living her best life. “She was a puppy mill dog for 5 years in Missouri, and instead of placing her in a loving home at her end of breeding, she was put in a dog auction,” it says. “Zsa Zsa was then purchased by Underdog Rescue. Her mother saw her beautiful picture on pet finder and HAD TO HAVE HER! She now lives out her retired life in Anoka, MN.”

Zsa Zsa’s competition this year included a Pekingese named Wild Thang, a toy dog named Char, and a Chihuahua named Rico. All of them are winners, TBH.

Thanks to her win, Zsa Zsa will go home with her title and a $1,500 prize, perfect for buying lots of treats and maybe a fancy new collar and leash to befit her royal status. When you win such an esteemed title, you gotta flaunt it, right?
