Drop Shot Rig

This pre-tied drop shot rig can save you time while fishing. Pack a few of these before you hit the stream, and you can easily replace, rather than re-tie. The drop shot rig is provided with the approximate dimensions as shown in the diagram; simply cut the various lengths of tippet to your desired length. Flies and weight are not included.

Simply tie the rig to your line, add a split shot to the far end of the rig, and tie on a couple flies, and you have a great rig for keeping your flies in the strike zone near the bottom of the stream.
