Cardhu 15 YO is an elegant and complex Single Malt Whisky from the Scottish Speyside. As known for the distillery, it is very fruity and has some surprising tips. Cardhu 15 YO lies with his age between the 12-year-old and 18-year-old of the distillery.

The Speyside Whisky is supplied in an attractive 0.7L bottle and has an alcohol content of 40 % vol.

Nosing

Cardhu connoisseurs know what to expect when they open the bottle. Even Cardhu 15 YO is no exception here and presents fruity aromas immediately. The sweetness of the fruit combines quickly and excitingly with malt notes and a light smoke. By the way, the distillery does not use peat smoke.

Flavor

The fruit flavors are immediately shown on the tongue. They are again accompanied by sweet notes on the palate, including vanilla and chocolate. Combined with hints of malt and spices, it shows the class worthy of an elegant whisky. Cardhu 15 YO is also extremely soft and smooth.

Finish

Elegance to the end. A characteristic that the 15 year old Single Malt also confirms in the finish. The finish is rather medium long and dry. In the aftertaste notes of chocolate appear again, which marry themselves with a light smokiness and thus provide an ideal finish.
