Who says a wedding dress has to be about pomp and circumstance? Pinto wore British brand Needle & Thread on her wedding day, and considering that they are best known for their intricate embroidery and romantic silhouettes, it was an appropriate choice. Her white dress had ruffle detail around the cuffs, sleeves, and skirt of the dress, that helped add a little romance and sweetness to her look. The contrasting black floral detail and translucent sleeves elevated the dress from an ordinary white frock to something that invites close attention. What impresses us most is the star’s fuss-free attitude, “Honestly, I have to say, if any of you have planned a wedding, you probably know this—I do not want stomach ulcers from planning my own wedding. This was perfect! We got married and then we got to go home and take an afternoon nap,” she said on the Kelly Clarkson Show. The couple tied the knot at a Honda centre, with close friends in attendance as their witnesses. “This felt so special and fun and let’s be honest… it reflected the time in our world just perfectly!” said Pinto on Instagram of her pandemic wedding. While her dress invites much admiration, what’s most special here is that the actor is clearly head-over-heels for her husband, Cory Tran—so much so that the couple couldn’t wait to make it official. Pinto wore minimal jewellery, a clean face and a big smile—as for us, we love a whirlwind romance and couldn’t be happier for the couple, who are also expecting their first child.
