Hilary Duff is celebrating her "little cherry bomb" on her birthday!

On Wednesday, the How I Met Your Father actress, 36, shared a carousel of photos to her Instagram in celebration of her daughter Banks' 5th birthday. In the photos, Banks smiles, dresses up in a poofy pink dress, draws on herself with crayons and eats a melting ice cream cone as her proud mom sums her feelings up in a lengthy caption.

"Banks- the sweet/spice/dancing butterfly of our family! 5 years of memories with you are burned on my heart and soul forever and begging for more!" Duff began.

Duff shares her two daughters, Mae, 2, and Banks, with husband Matthew Koma. She is also mom to son Luca, 11, whom she shares with ex-husband Mike Comrie.

In September, the star shared a hilarious card her daughter Banks had given her for her birthday. Duff's husband posted the hilarious photo on his Instagram Story, which featured a white birthday cake with rainbow sprinkles that read "Happy Birthday Dickhead" in red icing.

"Banks picked this out by herself for @hilaryduff. She can't read yet," Koma wrote across the picture.

Appearing on an episode of Dear Media's Good Guys podcast with Josh Peck and Ben Soffer in March, Duff opened up about how she "always wanted to be a young parent."

"It was hard cause I didn't have any friends that were having kids yet. But I just like figured it out and loved it. I love being a mom so much," she said.

Noting that it "was young, for sure," Duff added, "I wouldn't change it at all."
