Spacewar!

You can accelerate to the edge of the screen and continue going across the screen until the speed gets too fast for the game to display properly (after a few minutes holding the throttle). The enemy will shoot but cannot hit you, don't shoot though because you'll run into your own bullet and die.

Good game, but it is lacking. The origanal game was based around the velocity of your ship and timing your bullets likewise. I assume they made this game faster for a new audience. But I still think they kind of didnt hit the point. Here are my other main issues: Like said in other reviews, the turning and boost are not separate. The bullets travel too fast. The star is too big. The ships are WAY to fast. There are no settings too adjust things like speed. The rate of fire is too fast.

A fantastic, nostalgic recreation of the original game. It's much faster than the original, and the graphics have been altered/improved. You can fire torpedoes extremely fast, and gravity is more forgiving. It's well made, and I appreciate the effort to recreate the classic.
