Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse Spark Engagement Rumors After the Singer Flashes New Diamond Ring

When Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse were taking a stroll through London on December 18, 2023, the actress and singer showed off her pregnant belly, but that wasn’t the only thing she revealed. According to photos that TMZ released, the model also flashed a large diamond set on a pavé band on her left ring finger, which sparked engagement rumors. 

Since Waterhouse confirmed last month that she and Pattinson are expecting their first child together, and with the debut of her new sparkly diamond ring, fans have speculated that the couple is going to be hearing wedding bells in the near future. “ROBERT PATTINSON AND SUKI WATERHOUSE ARE ENGAGEDDDDD AAAAHH,” one X user concluded. The couple has yet to confirm the rumors themselves, however.

In November 2023, during an onstage performance at Corona Capital Festival in Mexico, Waterhouse revealed that she’s pregnant. In a video that a fan posted on X, the musician explained the reason why she was wearing a pink sequined outfit. “I’m extra sparkly today because I thought it might distract you from something else that’s going on,” she told the audience. Waterhouse proceeded to open her coat, revealing her baby bump. “I’m not sure if it’s working,” she joked.

The following week, an insider told People that the duo is excited about the upcoming change in their relationship. “A baby coming is an absolute joy for them,” the source said. “They are thrilled beyond words.” Another source chimed in, saying, “They are ready for a child and looking forward to becoming parents. Even though they are both professionals who work a great deal, this is something they want. They know their lives will change, and they are excited.”

Since the pair—who have been romantically linked since 2018—is reportedly receiving Waterhouse’s pregnancy positively, their reaction is confirmation that the two of them are serious about one another and their relationship, so it makes sense that a wedding would be in their near future. Since Waterhouse and Pattinson tend to be private about their love lives and don’t often disclose details about one another, we don’t expect the couple to share much about their alleged engagement any time soon. When the Twilight actor was asked about his union in 2019, he explained why he prefers privacy. “If you let people in, it devalues what love is," he said. "If a stranger on the street asked about your relationship, you’d think it extremely rude. If you put up a wall, it ends better.”
