cockpit colours for the stuka ju 87 G2

Hi all

 

Im struggling to find good pictures of the cockpit of a G2 stuka.  Can anyone tell me if the pilots seat had padding on it at the rear and on the head rest?  Im making the 1/24 trumpeter G2 kit and the seat appears to have padding on it but Im not sure.  If anyone can tell, that would be great.

Also is possible that it depended on the time of production?  What I mean by that is did the early G2s come with padded seats and as the war materials became more scarce for germany towards the end of the war, did they then produce G2s with just metal seats without pading?

I think you will find the seat did not change D to G. In all cases, the pilot and gunner sat on their parachute. The pilot had a rear back cushion and padded head rest like the D-5 seat shown here:

 

 

 

It's how I did it in 1/48 for my D-5.
