A Heathrow worker has revealed where you can catch a glimpse of a Concorde at the airport. The world-famous aircraft used to carry passengers in the air at well over 1,000 miles per hour. Mo, who works as an engineer at Heathrow, posts TikTok videos about his work on the social media platform and has told his audience where you can see the legendary Concorde.

If you are lucky enough to have a bit of time before your flight from Terminal 2 of the airport you can walk to one of its far corners to get a view. This is next to gate A18 and although it is a bit of a walk from the main departure lounge it is worth it to see Concorde clearly in the distance.

While it’s been nearly 20 years since the aircraft last flew, Heathrow has a model on display at the airport. Towards the end of Mo’s video, which has more than 80,000 likes, he gives us a closer look. Its sleek design meant it was able to travel faster than the speed of sound.

Concorde was retired from service in 2003 over a downturn in demand and increasing maintenance costs, but it is still fondly remembered by many as a feat of engineering. If you’re travelling from Terminal 2 it might just be worth going out of your way to see it.
