WHEDCo’s Kerry McLean Selected For First Cohort of LISC Rubinger Fellows

Kerry McLean, Vice President of Community Development at WHEDCo, has been selected as one of ten promising community development field local leaders nationwide to receive a Michael Rubinger Community Fellowship award.  Named in honor of LISC’s long-time CEO, the program will award $40,000 to each fellow, which will support a special project of their choice.  Ms. McLean directs WHEDco’s neighborhood planning and creative placemaking initiatives, including work associated with the LISC NYC Commercial Corridor Challenge.  Ms. McLean’s project will research immigrant families in the Bronx with the goal of developing tailored strategies to stabilize and increase their families’ financial resources.
